Delicious sandwiches and expert advices
We spent a few days touring around Menorca and every morning we passed by the Baixamar, where Joan and Rachel, who have taken over the business for a few months, prepared the tastiest and delicious sandwiches (pork with red peppers and garlic, pesto chicken with cheese , Iberian ham with tomato and oil) and ALSO gave us the best advice on what beaches to visit each day, each one more and more incredible. They also have a terrace that overlooks the harbor, where you can have from creative salads, delicious cheeses (the binigarba fabulous!), to toasts and more elaborate dishes. We loved the Baixamar, also because of its ancient interiors with carved stools and mirrors modernist (see photos) and the jazz music they chose, as well as for their friendly treatment.
