A magical area
This old neighbourhood has been transformed in recent years, into a magical sea area with a pier. The promenade of Bagnoli, in a bay just outside Naples, is composed of a long jetty (800 m), with a constant coming and going of people jogging, walking the dog, reading a book, or sunbathing. Despite its popularity, it's an ideal spot for a relaxing day outside the city, and shows how an old industrial area can be totally revitalized.
