Black Forest

This city, in the Black Forest is the oldest in Germany. It is now extremely popular with tourists from Germany and other parts of Europe. The therapeutic properties of its waters are one of its greatest attractions. This can be experienced first hand in the Friedrichsbad (The House of the bathrooms), mineral water spa built in 1877. A wonderful place to rest and recuperate. Each pool has a different temperature, and water jets that provide soothing massages. Ther is much to see by taking a stroll around some of the ancient structures. Among them the Collegiate, from the thirteenth century, a casino from 1893 or the New Palace.

The city can be an interesting stop if you are touring the Black Forest. If you have time, in addition to the walk, I recommend that you take one of the small baths. It's more expensive than other spas in the country (about 15 euros), but is well worth it for the unique experience.
