Historic Market

This market is just on the way out of historic Esaouira, next to the long-distance bus station. Informally set up, it provides food to the neighbourhood, and probably to several hotels, as it is less expensive than the market inside the walls. Fruits and vegetables change with the seasons, but oranges are always delicious, and a guy will make you the best juices you've tried. The prices are cheap, for two or three euros you can get kilos of tomatoes, oranges, cucumbers, to prepare a quick lunch. Always wash the fruit that you don't peel, preferably with bottled water. Some guys sell cut fruit,

Watermelon or melon, check the freshness first, or you can ask them to cut you a new one in front of you.
