Avenue del Mar

Está situada en el centro entre el parque de La Alameda y el Paseo Marítimo. Hace no muchos año era un parque bastante abandonado pero ahora se ha convertido en una zona peatonal y con un gran parking subterráneo. En esta avenida podemos admirar una de las más completas obras escultóricas de Salvador Dalí adquiridas por el Ayuntamiento de Marbella durante el gobierno del GIL.

It is located in the center between the park of La Alameda and Paseo Maritimo. It not many years ago was a fairly deserted park but now has become a pedestrian area with a large underground parking. On this avenue we can admire one of the most complete sculptural works of Salvador Dalí acquired by the city of Marbella during the GIL government.

Sino a pochi anni fa quella che oggi è la Avenida del Mar era un piccolo parco alberato, con alcune panchine ed una fontana, che conduceva fino al lungomare di Marbella. Oggi la fisionomia di questa zona è cambiata adeguandosi ai tempi, sempre restando la via d'accesso per antonomasia al mare. La via collega il Parco dell'Alameda con il nuovo lungomare, il suolo è in marmo e nella zona centrale si alternano pergole, fontane e una collezione di sculture disegnate da Salvador Dalí e fuse in bronzo da Bonvicini di Verona. Sui lati si trovano diversi ristoranti, bar e il Buddha Bar.

Until a few years ago what is now the Avenida del Mar was a small wooded park, with a few benches and a fountain, leading to the promenade of Marbella. Today the character of this area has changed adapting to the times, while remaining the access road to the beach par excellence. The road connects the Alameda Park with the new promenade, the soil is in marble and in the central alternate pergolas, fountains and a collection of sculptures designed by Salvador Dalí and cast in bronze by Bonvicini of Verona. On the sides you will find several restaurants, bars and the Buddha Bar
