Avenida Pedralbes

La avenida de Pedralbes es una de las más preciosas de Barcelona. Es un barrio ahora residencial, pero antes, era el campo, la salida de la ciudad. El primer edificio que encuentras, arriba de la avenida, es el monasterio real de Pedralbes. Ahora está en lo que es Barcelona centro, pero antes estaba en el campo. El barrio de arriba sigue siendo antiguo, con calles empedradas. Luego si vas bajando la avenida de Pedralbes, verás los bellos edificios, modernos, con muchos espacios verdes, un lugar muy diferente por ejemplo del barrio gótico, donde las calles son estrechas y hay pocos parques. La avenida de Pedralbes luego bordea los pabellones Güell. Fueron construidos a principios del siglo XX por Gaudí, encargado por Eusebi Güell de construir estas residencias de campo para la familia Güell. Pero cuando más se desarrolló fue en los años 70, con grandes edificios residenciales de 10 o 12 pisos, que ahora están entre los más caros de la ciudad. La avenida termina en la Avenida Diagonal, con centros comerciales y transportes para el centro.
