The town of Selçuk has several good and cheap pensions suitable for all budgets and tastes. It achieves this without losing the tranquility that characterizes the large town, which makes it a highly recommended destination for the night if you are going to visit the ruins of Ephesus or are just passing through. In my case, I stayed at the Australia & New Zealand Guesthouse and I cannot stop recommending it. Very competitive prices, from 5 to 15 euros, you can sleep in a pleasant dormitory, a triple or double without bathroom, another with bathroom . And with an excellent buffet breakfast! The hostel also has Internet access, bicycles and transportation to Ephesus - a free guide too - what more could you want? Well, there's more.
The friendliness of the owners make you feel at home (an example: they ask for your address in case you forget something in the hostel). All rooms revolve around a courtyard full of plants where it is very nice to chat and meet people. The rooms are spotless and at the top there is a large patio that looks like a tent, with a beautiful view across Selçuk. In addition, on the corner here is the road leading to the ruins of Ephesus.
