August Schell Brewing Company

Schell's Brewery is the second oldest family owned brewery in the United States! It also happens to be the oldest in the state of Minnesota- during a time when micro breweries are popping up all over the place it's fun to visit one with a little more history.
They stayed in business during the prohibition by creating their famous 1919 root beer, which is still available and can be purchased in the half keg for parties of all sorts!
Visit the brewery for a tour of their facilities, a great story of their history (and family!) then shop their gift shop, and then enjoy a beer down in the German style "pub" downstairs.
