Athabasca Falls
They are the most famous waterfalls in Jasper National Park. They are about 30 km south of Jasper town, at the intersection of Highway 97 and 97A. Besides the falls, we can do a little tour of a canyon that leads to the river. Despite being far apart, it reminded me of Petrohue, in the area of the Chilean Patagonia: a lot of noise of the water, they are not very high, and there are some amazing mountains in the background, as well as the Canadian Rocky Osorno volcano.
