High level Peruvian cuisine on the Castellana
Astrid & Gastón is a well-known restaurant of high-level Peruvian cuisine that has various locations in different American countries (Peru of course, Ecuador, Venezuela, etc.) and an impressive restaurant of the highest level in the heart of Madrid.
For those that haven’t had the opportunity of sampling everything the Peruvian gastronomy has to offer, Astrid & Gastón is an impressive way to start. It’s considerably expensive and only appropriate for very special occasions, or for those with deep pockets. For an economic and tasty alternative, I 100% recommend the much more modest Inti de Oro. It’s more modest in price without sacrificing the gastronomic quality.
