"You're in Nagisa Oshima's room, do you know him?". That was the first surprise I got in this hotel in the centre of San Sebastian. Alfred Hitchcock then welcomed me from cinema seats beside the lifts. There was a panel showing the 102 actors and directors who inspired this former cinema which has become a 4-star hotel. For movie lovers like me, it's an honor to stay in a room dedicated to Liz Taylor, Tarantino, Audrey Hepburn, Woody Allen, Orson Welles and Sophia Loren, decorated with frames of their most famous films and their biography as a headboard . The decor is modern and spotless. Downstairs, there is a library-lounge for anyone looking to devour a good book, even if they know that the city is calling out to them and they aren't going to spend any time there.
