Aspendos Amphitheatre

Non lontano da Antalya circa 45 km vale sicuramente la pena visitare la zona archeologica di Aspendos , l' antica città prima conquistata da Alessandro Magno in seguito divenne importante città romana. Tra le particolarità l'imponente teatro costruito da Marco Aurelio con un ottima acustica e spazio per ben 7000 spettatori fu restaurato da Atartuk ed è sede ancor oggi di spettacoli, ma tutta la zona merita una escursione perdendosi e camminando nella campagna circostante dove si possono ammirare l' ippodromo, l' agorà, resti di basiliche ed acquedotti.
