Los Canchales

Los Canchales is a restaurant in Badajoz, where you can enjoy typical Extremaduran cuisine. It’s located in the street parallel to the Alféreces plaza, and it’s really good.

There’s a bar area and a dining area in the restaurant, separated by doors. I’ve eaten here many times and the truth is that I didn’t enjoy my second dish the last time I was there. However, I’ve tried the rest of the dishes on the menu, and they’re all very good.

Make sure to try the roasted suckling pig. It’s better than what you’ll find in Segovia. You can also have exquisite tapas at the bar with a nice glass of wine from their bodega. I recommend drying the Nadir, it’s great.
