The wooden carvings of Bali really are a work of art. On the road from Kuta to Ubud, we found several workshops. Some were just in the backyard of the sculptor's house, while others had huge store fronts. I wanted to buy everything, from the tiny little pieces to the huge, entirely handmade items of furniture! Of course, nothing has a fixed price, so you'll need to haggle to find a price that suits you. You can just go to look, but it's not easy to leave empty-handed...
