Art Deco District

One of the best tourist attractions to be found in the city of Miami is definitely the Art Deco district which is situated on South Beach. It is located very close to the beach where these beautiful pastel-colored houses were built, today it seems that they remain the same way as when they were built. It's nice to walk around the streets and visit the past and the memories of films which have narrated these tremendous stories ... A very cool place.

This is a large part of Miami, known as the Art Deco District. Virtually all the buildings by the sea are hotels, all built in the Art Deco style. There are old classic cars parked in front, adding to the charm. The perfect place to go for a walk, sight see, shop or just play in the sand. You can see where Gianni Versace lived on Ocean Drive; his house now belongs to a hotel. I recommend that you hire a bike to get around; you'll find plenty of spots to pick one up on the South Beach waterfront, and it costs $6 an hour.
