ARRONE

A pochi chilometri dalla Cascata delle Marmore, lungo la strada delle tre valli umbre che collega Terni con la valle Spoletana e la Valnerina, si trova questo borgo che, proprio a motivo della sua posizione, si sarebbe portati ad oltrepassare gettando al massimo un'occhiata dal finestrino. E' vero che da queste parti i luoghi da vedere non mancano, ma passare da Arrone senza fare una sosta sarebbe comunque un errore. Per chi avesse proprio fretta, concetto comunque relativo che in questa regione non paga quasi mai, il paese si visita in ogni caso comodamente in un'oretta. Nel borgo murato collocato su un poggio in posizione strategica all'incrocio di due vallate, che oggi formano il parco fluviale del Nera, si trovano torri, archi, vicoli suggestivi e un paio di chiese splendidamente affrescate. Per i fortunati per i quali il tempo a disposizione non è un problema, i dintorni sono un luogo ideale per praticare... la maggior parte delle attività all'aria aperta!
