Arrival to Banna or Butterfly Paradise
During the nearly two hour walk to get from Ngoy Nua, Clara my Parisian friend was telling me the wonders of this town. I could not imagine that everything she said would fall short, very short, next to the reality. Everything about this little-big town is impossible to describe with my poor vocabulary, which is nowhere near or even close to what I felt at the time of arrival. In nearly 15 kilos on his back, his feet heavy, wet, muddy, with everything that had been on the barge that brought us to Ngoy Nua .., oh boy that was hard work! .. And with the wind hitting us sideways, I could do nothing but explode and shout for joy when we got to the outskirts.
