In the mythical Indus valley
Leh is the capital of the remote region of Ladakh , in the far north of India. The city is the region's only city with a direct air connected to the rest of India. Cut off for several months a year by snow, Leh is nestled in the mythical Indus valley under the shadow of the peaks of the Himalayas. In springtime, the area fills up with trekkers and adventurers since the city is an incredible starting point for hiking trails can reach, in some cases, all the way to the border with China. Leh was fascinating, possibly because it's so different from the rest of India.
