Armenia Colombia

Excellent

The Quindio is a department full of contrasts. Here there is a ton to see and you will keep the memories forever.

The center of Armenia busy and relaxing at the same time.

You'll probably just passing through to change bus to Salento, but this city, colorful and lively, may be worth stopping there one day, the time to take the temperature of its downtown quite similar than Cali. A tangle of gray streets which sometimes arise in some older houses and so colorful stalls of fruit sometimes some street corner and can not roar like it or not, but that made the atmosphere of this city transit .

During the seven months that I spent in Armenia, I was told of Mount Ararat, genocide, earthquake, war with Azerbaijan, dolmas, the marshutkas, opera ... Armenia is a country Caucasus, I'll spare you the Wikipedia data, if you are interested, see the article which is more than correct. Armenia is located in the "former" Soviet country, traveling in Armenia is a journey through time. 70% of its borders are closed. Once I spoke in Yerevan with a Serbian boy when Kosovo gained independence, and he said "For how is a country, we observe how are its relations with neighboring countries" (obviously, n ' is not an absolute truth, it is the theory that the historical experience has given him). The doors of Russia (his great friend and protector only), Georgia and Iran are open to him, and the doors of Turkey and Azerbaijan are closed to him.
