Some nice attractions
Armadale is a town without a great deal of charm on the Isle of Skye. One of the attractions of this village is the castle, the stronghold of the clan Mac Donald (nothing to do with the restaurant). You can stroll around the beautiful gardens of the estate, and see the remains of the castle, of which only the facade and some interior walls still stand. The most interesting part of the town is the museum, which traces the history of the clan Mac Donald, who have passionately supported Scottish independence.
