Ares del Maestre

Ares del Maestre, is located in the foothills of the Iberian System, presenting a steep relief, characterized by a hilly landscape.

Located on a hill, it is crowned by the remains of a Templar castle, that constitutes a magnificent watchtower over the mountainous landscape. Another interesting place is the old fish market, a gothic building where you can find the city hall, the prisons from the 13th century and the old doors of the wall.
