Hotel Lützow

Necesitábamos un lugar en el que sentirnos cómodos durante nuestra estancia de una semana en Berlín. Céntrico, con desayuno (no me gusta salir a la calle con el estómago vacío), que no fuera demasiado caro y que tuviera los servicios básicos pero sin caer en la cutrez. Después de revisar una y otra vez las webs de reservas de hoteles más conocidas, elegimos tres que se adptaban a lo que queríamos y final triunfó el Lützow con una ventaja sobre los demás realmente considerable. Lo primero el precio, que nos sorprendió al tratarse de una ciudad como Berlín, lo segundo la situación, cerca de Tiergarten, que es la antesala oeste de la ciudad y de varias paradas de metros, tranvías y autobuses. Y finalmente la pequeña pero resultona cocina con microondas, frigorífico y dos placas eléctricas que nos daban de cenar cada noche y de desayunar cada mañana. En general el hotel está bien, pequeño pero acogedor, de estilo moderno y funcional en una calle muy tranquila de un barrio residencial, cerca de supermercados, restaurantes y bares. Las habitaciones cómodas que pueden dar al frente o como en nuestro caso a un enrome jardín trasero que delimitan varios edificios de oficinas. La limpieza también es correcta aunque más de una vez tuvimos que bajar a recepción a pedir frasquitos de champú y gel y otra nos invitaron a desayunar porque la noche anterior había habido un corte de agua en nuestra planta. Aparte del precio de la habitación, la vajilla, cubiertos y calderos debéis pagarlos aparte, unos 6€ y os los entregan en una caja plástica en recepción. Pero lo mejor de todo está en recepción, ya que en uno de los turnos hay una guapísima, simpática, eficiente y servicial recepcionista de Gran Canaria que desde un primer momento nos hizo sentir como en casa (ay, ese acento canario!!) y cada día charlaba con nosotros, recomendándonos lugares que sólo los berlineses conocen y acercándonos al día a día en la ciudad. Lo dicho, recomendado y apto para repetir si volvemos a la ciudad de Berlín.

We needed a place to feel comfortable during our weeklong stay in Berlin. Central with breakfast (I do not like to go outside on an empty stomach), it was not too expensive and have basic services but without falling into the cutrez. After reviewing again and again reservation websites best known hotels, we chose three that adptaban to what we wanted and final Lützow triumphed with an advantage over other really significant. First the price, which surprised us as it is a city like Berlin, the latter situation, near Tiergarten, which is the prelude west of the city and several stops metros, trams and buses. And finally the small but resultona kitchen with microwave, refrigerator and two hot plates which gave us dinner each night and breakfast each morning. the hotel is in general good, small but cozy, modern and functional style in a quiet street in a residential neighborhood, near supermarkets, restaurants and bars. Comfortable rooms that can give the front or as in our case a back garden enrome delimiting several office buildings. Cleaning is also correct although more than once had to go down to reception to ask gel and shampoo bottles and other invited us to breakfast because the night before had been a water cut on our floor. Apart from the price of the room, crockery, cutlery and pots you must pay them apart, about 6 € and will deliver them in a plastic box in reception. But best of all is in reception as one of the turns is a gorgeous, friendly, efficient and helpful receptionist Gran Canaria that from the outset we did feel at home (ouch, that canary accent !!) and every day chatting with us, recommending places only Berliners know and getting closer to the day to day in the city. I said, recommended and suitable to repeat if we return to the city of Berlin.
