An original hybrid concept
The A & O chain has outlets in Austria, Czech Republic and especially Germany, Berlin, Dortmund, Dresden, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Graz, Hamburg, Karlsruhe, Cologne, Leipzig, Nuremberg, Prague, Vienna, and Munich. It's an interesting hybrid between hotel and hostel, with all the amenities of a hotel at hostel rates. The Cologne branch is just 50 metres from the cathedral and the main train station. It has wifi and internet access, a breakfast area, and the rooms, although small, are completely spotless.
