Antica Focacceria San Francesco

Una sorta di antico "fast food" siciliano, dato che vi si trovano tutte specialità locali dei piatti "di strada", oggi invece vi trovate il marchio Slow Food ricamato nelle divise del personale, a segnalare quanto ancora oggi sia indispensabile mangiare bene e piano. All'interno, organizzato all'incirca come un self service, ci si trovano arancine, panelle, sfincioni, cannoli e l'immancabile panino con la milza che, se accomodati ad uno dei tavoli al primo piano con belvedere sul banco, potrete osservare in ogni sua fase di preparazione. L'arredamento liberty segnala il prestigio e la tradizione del locale, collocato davanti all'antica Chiesa di San Francesco nel quartiere della Kalsa, in pieno centro storico. Prezzi abbordabilissimi per qualsiasi tasca ma soprattutto viaggio culinario alla scoperta di Palermo e della Sicilia, tappa indispensabile per chi mette piede in città.
