Animals Market

The village of San Francisco el Alto is about 20 miles from Quetzaltenango, in the department of Totonicapán. Fridays they celebrate one of the largest markets in the highlands of Guatemala, but most striking is its animal market, the streets hold the market for fruits, vegetables, household goods etc., But at the end in a large square you'll find the animal market, this is perhaps the biggest attraction in town. People come with their sheep, goats, donkeys, and much more.
