André Chamson Space

L'Espace André Chamson se situe en plein centre-ville. Enfant, plusieurs fois par semaine, je montais au 3ème étage (sans ascenseur, à l'époque) pour y prendre mes leçons de solfège et de trompette. Les escaliers, je peux vous l'assurer, sont raides... Et j'avais le vertige. L'Espace accueille, tout au long de l'année, conférences, expositions et rassemblements divers. Vous y trouverez, entre autres services, une école de danse, les bureaux du Festival de chanson (internationalement connu), "Les Fous chantants". Fonctionnant sur plusieurs étages, il permet tout au long de l'année la présence d'ateliers de pratique artistique (théâtre amateur, musique), éducatifs ou sociaux. L'Espace André Chamson fait partie intégrante du paysage culturel alésien. Lors de la Féria alésienne, les platanes de la cour voient l'arrivée d'une bodega.
