¡Que no salten las alarmas! En Brunei, en pleno centro, se puede comer barato. Muy barato. A precios estándar del sudeste asiático y en la línea de su vecina Malasia. Simplemente hay que buscar los restaurantes de corte indio, donde simplemente pidiendo un plato de arroz con cualquiera de los ingredientes y salsas que ofrecen puedes comer por un dólar de Brunei. En mi caso, como no me gusta el picante, hay veces que mi única solución es arroz con pollo y una salsa no picante (si la hay) como soja o de tomate. En en paseo marítimo antes de llegar al puente que conduce a Kota Batu, enfrente de donde se toman los botes para cruzar al pueblo flotante se encuentra este restaurante simple, sin mucho lujo pero suficiente si viajas con presupuesto económico. Muy cerca de la Mezquita Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien, de la estación de autobuses y, como ya he comentado, del pueblo flotante.
