Amayuelas Door

Located in the eponymous square, Amayuelas Gate currently sits as the main access to the center of Ciudad Rodrigo. If you enter through it, you will find the Cathedral and the Tourist Office. Moreover, next to this door there are stairs that take you up to the parapet walk of the wall. This door was opened in the stretch of wall in the sixteenth century, so it is also known as "New Gate".
