1 review of Amanojaku Ramen

One of the best places for ramen

This restaurant is one of the places where I found the best ramen I've eaten in Japan. The name already is special as it is called Amanojaku (天 邪鬼), meaning "evil spirit of heaven" and is an character of Japanese mythology. Although the place is small, there is always a line to get in because it is famous for their hearty broth and meat quality. It's opposite the station Tomio (富雄 駅) in Kintetsu line. The station corresponds to a tiny village between Nara and Osaka, which has the same name, and it is very quiet and also has tasty food. It is not for tourists, but its a good option if you are interesting in local cuisine.

Open evenings from 6pm.
