En Berlín hay muchos recorridos ...
En Berlín hay muchos recorridos turísticos y muchas compañías que se ofrecen a hacer estos por la ciudad, algunas en bus, otras en bici, otras a pie. Hay una gran variedad donde elegir qué tipo de tour se quiere hacer, pero quizá la más genuina la haga Alternative Tours Berlin.
Los recorridos de Alternative Tours son como bien dice su nombre: Alternativos. En estos no se va a la Puerta de Brandenburgo ni al Checkpoint Charlie sino que se recorren caras desconocidas de Berlín, sus zonas más "underground".
Esta pequeña empresa tiene varios recorridos. El de más demanda de los tours diurnos es el Alternative Day Free Tour que como su nombre indica es un recorrido que es gratuito. Sólo se necesita tener una Tageskarte (tarjeta para viajar en el metro durante todo el día, vale 6,20 €) para desplazarse por la ciudad.
El tour está básicamente basado en conocer el street art o arte urbano de esta increíble ciudad donde artistas graffiteros vienen de todas partes del mundo a pintar los muros, estaciones de tren, techos de vivienda y demás espacios que encuentren por el camino. Se pueden ver obras de grandes personalidades del mundo del graffiti como son: Alias, El Bocho, Víctor Ash, The 36er Crews, Lake, The Lunatic Team, el 1UP y muchos más.
A través de barrios como Kreuzberg o Friedrichshain nos sumergimos en el Berlín más contracultural, pero no sólo a través de los graffitis, también se visitan "casas de okupas", talleres de artistas, bares, pistas de patinaje cubiertas, y un largo etcétera que convierten este tour en un paseo muy particular.
Al final del tour que dura aproximadamente 3 horas y media, se le entrega al guía la voluntad, una propina que valora su trabajo según lo satisfechos que quedemos con el recorrido y la información que se nos ha dado.
Además de este existen otros tours, a cual de ellos más peculiar.
Uno de ellos es el Twilight Tour, un recorrido realmente interesante en el que durante la noche se visitan lugares de difícil acceso para alguien que no sea un berlinés o viva en Berlín y conozca el ambiente fuera del circuito turístico. Entre ellos se visitan casas "okupadas", un gran complejo de piscinas que ahora está en desuso y sirve como centro de exposiciones y experimentación artística, algunas veces incluyen fiestas privadas en casas o clubes de difícil acceso muy de cultura "underground", otras se aventuran a la búsqueda de encontrar a los artistas haciendo graffitis escondidos de la policía (ya que está prohibido).
Este tour dura unas 4 horas y comienza a las 7 de la tarde. El precio son: 15 euros.

Through neighborhoods like Kreuzberg or Friedrichshain in Berlin we dive more countercultural, but not only through graffiti, also visiting "squatter houses", artists' studios, bars, indoor skating rinks, and so on that make this tour a very special ride. At the end of the tour that lasts about three hours and a half, is given to guide the will, a tip that values their work as satisfied that stay with the tour and the information we have been given. Besides this there are other tours, which of them most peculiar. One is the Twilight Tour, a really interesting tour which is overnight visit places inaccessible to anyone but a Berliner or live in Berlin and know the atmosphere off the beaten path. These houses are visited "squatted" a large pool complex which is now disused and serves as a center for exhibitions and artistic experimentation, sometimes including private parties in homes or clubs very difficult to access culture "underground", others venture to the search to find the hidden graffiti artists doing the police (as forbidden). This tour takes about 4 hours and starts at 7 pm. The price is 15 euros.
