Altarera Monument

Esta bonita escultura se encuentra en el pueblo de la sierra norte madrileña llamado Garganta de los montes, en la [poi=92896]Iglesia de San Pedro[/poi]. Se trata de una escultura obra de Pilar Cuenca y está dedicada a la mujer gargantera por su labor y dedicación al pueblo. Estas mujeres se dedican a mantener la magia del pueblo cubriendo las calles de flores y adornando los altares de sábanas y puntillas para el día del Corpus Christi. Todo un monumento a la dedicación y a la buena fe de mujeres garganteras. [poi=92951]Garganta de los montes[/poi] es un bellísimo pueblo enclavado en la naturaleza de la sierra norte de madrid. Os cuento como llegar: Cogéis la A-1 hasta la salida 69 y tomáis la M-604 dirección Rascafría/Lozoya y se llega a El Cuadrón. Por la M-604 a pocos kilómetros después de pasar El Cuadrón se coge el desvío de la M-969 que conduce hasta Garganta de los Montes.
