Alta Garrotxa Natural Park

Alta Garrotxa territory is limestone relief in the foothills of the eastern Pyrenees. It has important biological wealth thanks to its rugged topography that has remained almost intact, and is now a Natural Interest Space under the Natura 2000 network, with an SPA category (Special Protection Area) for birds. The Natural Interest Space Alta Garrotxa is 32,865 hectares dominated by deep valleys and surrounded by cliffs.
