Aloha Canañas
The Aloha Cabanas is a basic hotel in Arugam Bay. This southern town in the east coast of Sri Lanka is dedicated to tourism, and there are many such places, cheap and charming, on the beach. The place welcomes surfers coming from Australia and Europe for the season, around the months April to November. Here they can rent rooms by the month, but also people can rent surf accessories, tables, wax, etc. Arugam Bay is a good place for beginners, the most advanced are at the end of the beach. The hotel has 6 rooms, and is a place of rest, so do not expect parties. Surfers get up at sunrise!
