A veces es muy práctico alojarse en un hotel que esté muy cerca del aeropuerto principal de la ciudad, en especial si vamos de negocios o con el tiempo muy limitado. En la capital colombiana, la ciudad de Bogotá, una de estas opciones es el Aloft Bogotá Airport, que está a sólo unos pasos del aeropuerto El Dorado en un complejo que se llama "Connecta", que es un centro de negocios que se encuentra a 12 kilómetros del centro de la ciudad, alejado del bullicio capitalino. El hotel es para no fumadores (está prohibido fumar en todas las instalaciones). Las habitaciones son muy cómodas, con una decoración moderna y minimalista. Todas cuentan con televisión de 42", cafetera y tetera, un pequeño refrigerador, plancha y tabla para planchar, radio con reloj despertador y secador de pelo. Hay habitaciones especiales para gente con silla de ruedas y habitaciones conectadas entre sí. El hotel tiene un área de comida de autoservicio donde uno se puede servir las 24 horas y comer en ese mismo espacio (que es muy cómodo y la decoración es muy bonita) o llevarlo a la habitación. En todas las instalaciones hay conexión wifi. Hay que tomar en cuenta que el hotel está alejado de los principales atractivos de la ciudad, pero tiene buen acceso al transporte público.
