Centro de Arte Museo de Almería

The Art Museum in Almeria stands in a typical Moorish house, which harmonises nicely with the city's old railway station. The house was built in 1927, and designed by the architect William Lange. Within its rooms, you can see temporary exhibitions featuring contemporary artists as well as the works of great artists from history. It was opened in 1998, it first exhibition being dedicated to the works of Joan Miro. Today you'll also find books and all kinds of cultural activities here. Visiting hours are: Monday: from 18h. to 21h, Tuesday to Saturday from 11h. to 14. and 18h. to 21h. and on Sundays and public holidays from 11am.
