Almacave House
Almacave House is at the back of the Church of Santa Maria de Almacave. It was built in the eighteenth century and some of its uses were as a court of justice, to imprison political prisoners and as an episcopal palace. It is 2-story and has an elegant facade with multiple balconies on the upper floor and windows on the bottom, all framed with granite recercados. On the balcony (above the door) are the shields of Portugais, Pintos and Botelhos.
