Hotel D'Inghilterra

This hotel is on one of the streets behind the Piazza di Spagna. If you like to shop, this is the ideal hotel: all the main shopping streets and brand-name stores are nearby. The only fault I can find with this hotel is that there is a bit of noise from the street.

The hotel is wonderfully luxurious and the rooms are the kind that you don't easily forget. I remember coming back from a day exploring Rome, opening up the door to my room and thinking "now THIS is the life!" The service, as you can imagine, is outstanding and what you'd expect from a hotel of this category (and price). It's not ideal for every kind of vacation, but if you have the money and it's a special occasion (I'm thinking honeymoon), then it's the best place in Rome.

You'll pass by it or very close when you go to Piazza di Spagna in Rome. It is located in a center of the city and you can see many interesting places by foot or by metro. It's in Via Bocca di Leone between vía Borgonon and Via dei Condotti Burgundian. The Polish Nobel Prize author of Quovadis once stayed here.
