Alameda Málaga* Hotel

This hotel is centrally located, between the port and the historic centre next to Calle Larios. It looks like nothing more than a block of flats from the outside, but when you get to the eighth floor you'll find an area more fitting a hotel with more stars. The rooms are clean and well-furnished, and the staff are attentive and polite. There's a cafe on the same street, offering good, cheap breakfast and lunch.

It is surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants, shopping centers, museums and monuments. Next to the hotel is the Teatro Alameda, a taxi rank, and the bus station, so if you want to visit other towns on the Costa del Sol such as Torremolinos, Fuengirola, or Nerja, you can do so easily.
