Classic Lebanese cooking
Al Sultan is a restaurant in the Shepherd Market neighbourhood. It's on a small pedestrian street behind Park Lane, where there are several oriental restaurants. This is a classic Lebanese restaurant. The mezze, tapa style hot and cold dishes, change daily. There is roast lamb, stuffed or fried eggplant, zucchini with rice and yougurt sauce, hummus of course, tabouleh, etc. Entries are 5 or 6 pounds and it takes about two or three to make a complete dinner. There are also cheese salad, spicy nuts, fish eggs in oil, spinach with cilantro... most of the dishes are very healthy and perfectly presented.
