Al Mahara

On the 27th floor of the famous 7-star hotel Burj Al Arab, you can take advantage of the famous brunch buffet on Friday at noon. It costs about 525 AED or about 118 € per person. Paying for this meal is the only way to access the inside of the famous hotel without staying in it, which is unattainable for most people. Enjoy the magnificent views that you can find on the top of the hotel. You can access the Friday brunch or for a little less (although I don´t think the difference makes it worth it), the Sky Tea at AED 425.00 per person including a glass of champagne. Al-Mahara is one of the many restaurants in the Dubai luxury hotel, Burj al-Arab. I imagine it must be spectacular to eat in any of the seven restaurants in the hotel, but we chose this because its an underwater restaurant and we thought that it must be particularly spectacular. What a better way to end a few days in Dubai than by enjoying a special treat (a big treat as it is very expensive) and leaving with a bang. It's an amazing feeling to be eating dinner while you watch the fish. The food's really no big deal, but just to have the surreal experience is worth it.
