Akelarre

Akelarre is an obliged visit for all the lovers of good food who are in San Sebastian and want to follow the restaurant route with Michelin stars.

You can enjoy this restaurant by day (it is located in the Igeldo and has broad windows that allows you to see the side of the mountain and the sea) and night (it has a nice decoration and lighting that makes it very cozy).

The dishes take you to another world: the diverse raw materials, the careful elaboration and the distinguished presentation make the experience and authentic pleasure.

The place is great and the food amazing. It is a minimalist restaurant. We really liked the way they prepared the oysters. We went there for our 15th wedding anniversary and it was certainly the right choice. Afterwards we slept in the María Cristina Hotel for a great ending.
