Ahoy Rentals

Ahoy Rentals is the place to go in Kingston if you want to try stand up paddle boarding, or SUP. You can rent all sorts of things for various water sports and activities here in addition to SUP, like kayaks and sailboats. They offer lessons for some water activities. We rented two stand up paddle boards for a couple of hours and tried it for the first time. You take the boards out on the St. Lawrence River along the Kingston waterfront. It is a great place to try it for the first time as the waters are fairly calm. We paddled out a little ways, making sure not to get too close to the larger boats or sailboats.
