Afonso III Square

Going from the marina to Carmen Church is this square, which is a continuation of Afonso III street. It's actually a roundabout, under which there's an underground car park. At the top there are gardens and an obelisk paying tribute to Afonso III, 5th king of Portugal and founder of Viana do Castelo in the thirteenth century.
