Vibrant and multicultural
The Adams Morgan neighborhood in NW Washington, DC, is my favorite place in the nation's capital. This place has personalty, identity, and it is very vibrant and multicultural. Stores, markets, restaurants, bars and music from around the world are located in this neighborhood, which now is more popular with natives and tourists than Georgetown, just a few miles away. Walking this one-mile road is a unique experiencie. Street performances, unexpectedly, are part of the daily life in Adams Morgan.
The image of French painter Toulouse-Lautrec (double reflected through a display window in front) was created in the early 80's to honor the name of a restaurant with French owner and cuisine.
