The Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova is a private museum in Turku, whose objectives are to investigate, preserve and pass on contemporary art and the medieval heritage of Finland. The Museum Shop was named the first library of Finland. Jauchius of Lybeck Lawrence moved to Finland, and opened his shop in Turku in 1642. It has a wide selection of books including art, history and science.
