Prime spot to catch an amazing show
With a beautiful built-in stage, this location is a prime spot to catch an amazing show. If you are visiting Chicago and don't have the money or time to get to the top theaters in the city, this would be a great place to check out.
We were there to see one of my favorite bands called Under The Willow and they were playing along with a Colorado band called Shel. I would love to know the background of this gorgeous building, because it looks as if it has transitioned into the bar that it is today. It still has the character of what it once was in it. There are intricate carvings into the stage walls and it is even two venues. There is a cement wall separating the stages, and you can't hear any difference if two bands are jamming at the same time. Posters are plastered all over the walls and it is easy to see the history behind this place.
