Abbazia di San Liberatore a Majella
Una delle chiese più belle d'Abruzzo in stile romanico. La tradizione vuole che questa abbazia sia stata fatta costruireper volontà di Carlo Magno. E' facilmente raggiungibile in auto, appena fuori il centro abitato di Serramonacesca, nei pressi del fiume Alento. L’edificio religiose è a pianta basilicale con tre navate terminanti in tre tre absidi semicircolari. La navata centrale è rivestita da un pavimento rivestito da mosaici. Splendido il campanile a pianta quadrata a tre livelli, ognuno diviso da fasce in pietra.
