A. Vernarecci Civic Art Gallery

The gallery occupies five rooms and several other smaller rooms on the first floor of the Supreme Court. It brings together paintings from local churches, institutions or private collections. Of particular interest are the rich array of works that document the accomplishments of painter Giovan Francesco Guerrieri who was inspired by the stimulating environment of Caravaggio in Rome. Other painters of note that have their work on display are: F. Barocci, G. Diamond, G. Lapis, S. Ceccarini, F. Podesti. Ther is also a notable collection of ceramics.
