Adresse bien connue des gastronomes, "à l'Escargot" est un très belle table du Berry. La cuisine, le décor sont traditionnels. J'ai déjeuné ici un midi, et j'ai passé un très bon moment. Une spécialité de la maison à ne pas rater : le ris de veau braisé sauce morilles. La réputation du restaurant n'est plus à faire : même les parents de George Sand connaissaient cette table, lorsqu'elle s'appelait encore "l'auberge de la tête noire" ! Le service comme la cuisine sont irréprochables, et les assiettes de véritables œuvres d'art !
Address well-known gourmet, "the Snail" is a beautiful table Berry. The kitchen, the decor is traditional. I had lunch here one afternoon, and I had a great time. A specialty of the house not to be missed: the risk braised veal with morel sauce. The restaurant's reputation is second to none: even parents of George Sand knew this table, when it was still called "the inn black head!" The service is impeccable as the kitchen and the dishes true works of art!
