Se puede decir sin exagerar que no es que la Coruña tenga puerto, sino que el puerto tiene a la ciudad, ya que la principal razón por la que existe la ciudad es su enorme bahía protegida, en un lugar, Galicia, donde los barcos tienen que buscar muchas veces refugio por las malas condiciones del mar. El puerto de Coruña siempre fue un lugar abierto al público a pesar de tener una actividad frenética, y una de mis actividades preferidas era bajar a ver la subasta del pescado fresco, con impresionantes ejemplares de pez espada, tiburones, atunes y otras especies. Desgraciadamente la paranoia posterior al 11-S ha blindado la mayoría de puertos que tienen tráfico internacional, y el de Coruña no ha sido una excepción, rodeado de altas vallas metálicas, puertas de seguridad para el acceso, etcétera. Por suerte en fin de semana la actividad cesa y los coruñeses y visitantes podemos disfrutar de nuevo del lugar más emblemático de la ciudad junto a la Torre de Hércules Aunque desde el 11/S el acceso a los puertos está bastante restringido por temas de seguridad, en el de La Coruña por la tarde se suele acceder sin problemas, tanto a los muelles pesqueros como a la zona industrial, y aunque los turistas nos suelen ir por allí, a mi me parece una zona atractiva.

En cuanto a la gastronomía, simplemente no existe, a no ser que se entienda gastronomía a Vips, Burguer King o alguna otra franquicia de establecimientos de comida rápida presentes en todos los centros comerciales. Fue el lugar donde conocí a las mejores personas, y donde se encuentra (para mi) la mejor puesta de sol.

Tenia ganas de ver un amanecer en La Coruña por eso madrugué y no amaneció tal como yo esperaba soleado pero al ver estas nubes también le otorgaron espectacularidad al amanecer y dar aun mas si cabe ese tono azulado de los momentos justos antes de aparecer el sol.

I had wanted to see a sunrise in Corunna why woke up early and not as I expected sunny but seeing these clouds also gave spectacular at dawn and give even more if possible the blue tone just moments before the sun appears.
